More than 35 parents gathered a the “Coffee with the Head of School” at the Fine Arts building on the Northside Campus on Thursday, August 8, to attend the first parent coffee of 2011-2012. I hosted the gathering and gave returning and first-time parents the chance to say hello to new friends and old friends over coffee and tea and to hear about plans for the new school year.

At the event I had the chance to go into detail regarding many of the new changes that parents saw or heard about during the first few days of school. All the parents had great questions and many of them gave great ideas for future programs opportunities. I was very excited about all the support and encouragement that the parents gave towards the new changes and additions of programs.
