NCA’s Crockett Featured On ESPN’s Christmas With Cam!
If you’re a part of the NCA Family, then you almost certainly know who Franklin Crockett is and the contributions that he’s made to our school; particularly to our Athletics department. Franklin is a talented young man who is on his way to becoming a quality high school quarterback. Unfortunately, Franklin had to sideline himself at the start of the school year, due to a bone tumor that he is currently receiving treatment for. This hasn’t derailed his life by any means, but as with many things in life, taking care of himself has certainly (and rightly so) become a much higher priority than football. We have been rallying around and praying for Franklin and are so thankful that he’s received such a great support system with his family, his NCA Family and all the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Levine Children’s Hospital.
Thanks to reporting from ESPN Front Row, Franklin received a wonderful Christmas gift this year. He was chosen by none other than Cam Newton of the Carolina Panthers to join him on the field after their week 14 home game win over Atlanta. Not only was Franklin excited to meet and spend time with Cam, but it was also an opportunity to have a break from the monotony of treatment and working through the challenges that it entails. Take a moment to check out the photos and read over the captions to get a feel for what the day with Cam was like!
