4 Star General at NCA, May 30
Gen. Daniel B. Allyn, commanding general, U.S. Army Forces Command,, will speak at the commencement ceremony of Northside Christian Academy on May 30, 2014 at 7 p.m. Allyn is the 20th commander of the United States Army Forces Command. He is responsible for manning, equipping, and training 265,000 active component soldiers, and training and readiness oversight of 560,000 soldiers of the Army National Guard and the U.S. Army Reserve. The general is a graduate of the Infantry Officer Basic and Advance Courses at Fort Benning, Georgia; the United States Army Command and General Staff College at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas; and the Naval War College at Newport, Rhode Island, where he earned a Master of Arts degree in Strategic and National Security Studies.
