A Little Elementary Encouragement!

Something to warm your heart on a rainy day in February! Mrs. Johnson’s second grade class got to partake in a special activity recently. Mrs. Johnson explained to us that “Several times throughout the year, we make cards for people who need encouragement and a little “Son”shine. Several days ago we made cards for…a mom to a couple of alumni. She was so encouraged that she wanted to bring us a treat!

We enjoyed the delicious brownies and the students enjoyed meeting her and giving her hugs! I try to teach the students the power of prayer and the importance of being a blessing of to others.” We are proud of Mrs. Johnson’s class for following her lead of being a blessing to others! This is yet another wonderful example of ways students (and their communities) are being impacted, and impacting others, for eternity!
