Join the Effort!
Dear Northside Friends and Families,
You have a busy schedule with little time to read a letter, but please take a moment to read this all the way through. I will be as brief as possible.
At the Fall Forum on November 15, I asked our parents to prayerfully consider becoming one of the families needed to partner with us to help Northside Christian Academy meet our Annual Fund goal of $75,000 in 2013. Since the first day of school, Northside has tried to deliver an exceptional experience, an outstanding arts program and competitive athletics, all built on a granite foundation of Christian principles wrapped in a loving community. To say the least, our parents are very excited about our school.
We need to come together in order to help fulfill Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not depart from it.” Currently our Annual Fund sits at approximately $30,000 thanks to the donations of many of our staff, administrators, parents, and alumni. As you can see, we need your help in order to keep the momentum going and reach our goal by June 1, 2013.
We are excited about what the Lord is doing among us at NCA. We have laid out a plan to address several initiatives with this year’s Annual Fund.
- Art Gallery Hall – Ruach, a dynamic Hebrew word, literally means spirit, wind or breath as it relates to the Creator God who powerfully and actively filled all living creatures with His breath of life. Ruach does not exist outside of God. It is our desire to honor and please the Creator through our own creations. It is the Ruach that enables us to participate in that creative process. This gallery will show artwork created by our NCA students to honor our Creator God.
- Renovation of our Media Center – The goal of the school library media center is to ensure that all members of the school community have equitable access “to books and reading, to information, and to information technology.”
- Phase II of our Security Initiative – We plan to continue to establish a clear security campus plan for the AEL and Academy that includes updated security equipment, visitor check in points, and a closed campus initiative.
- Phase II of our Technology Initiative – We will continue with the addition of wifi in our halls, professional development for our teachers, additional iPads, and classroom upgrades.
Please support our initiatives by clicking on any of the “Donate Now” pictures on the ncaknights.com web pages. Thank you again for joining with us in prayer, partnership, and a commitment to excellence. I pray that God richly blesses you for your support of this great school.
Sincerely,
Tony Fajardo, M.S.
