Basketball; Girls, Boys Conference Champions!
We’re very pleased to announce some incredible news from our athletics department! On Friday evening, both our boys and girls varsity basketball teams competed for the conference championship finals. Both boys and girls faced conference-rival, Concord First Assembly at Gaston Day School’s gymnasium – and both came away victorious!
Our incredible girls team, consisting of Brit Aller, Jailyn Bloodworth, Kylee Calabrese, Aja Jones, Jayon Leak, Jessyka Leak, Christiana Mclean, Eleah Parker, Nikayla Ross and Shamani Stafford, defeated CFA 64-46 for the title!
Our amazing boys team, consisting of Isaiah Best, Coleman Blankenship, Colton Cashaw, Brandon Dean, Donovan Gregory, Nate Hinton, James Lewis, Jr., Martin Maide, Chris Martin, Michael McKoy, Marcus Plair, Evan Umstead, and Jordan Wilkerson, defeated CFA 68-45 to capture the win!
