Private lessons:

Many times, students need to explore various interests before finding their gifts and passions. However private lessons in art and music can be expensive, especially for families with multiple children. Northside provides opportunities for students to take lessons during the school day in place of non-academic activities. Lessons are offered through qualified teachers who have a heart for their subject. Regardless of the instrument or artistic medium, your student will be given personal attention and numerous opportunities to share their progress at school and church events.

Theater:

Northside’s drama program is instrumental in helping students develop communication skills as well as confidence. We value traditional plays and musical theater as a platform for young people to bring glory to God. Your student will be able to perform in world-renowned plays on a regular basis such as:

• Oliver Twist
• The King and I
• The Hiding Place

While our theater program is intensive, it’s often resulted in incredible opportunities for our graduates.

Choir & Band:

The Northside student body is rich with talent – especially in the area of music and voice. Many students have goals of music-focused higher education, while others simply enjoy the art. Your student can begin our band program in grade five or choir in grade six. Students perform in numerous shows and venues throughout the year, refining their talents and praising God consistently.
