Annual Alumni Banquet
Dear Friends, Families, and Alumni,
Northside Christian Academy has impacted literally thousands of lives for the last 50 years. Children trained to love God and serve Him have influenced our community, our state, our nation, and our world. Those that support this ministry in prayer, time, service, and financial gifts have great significance in the lives of future generations. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of something bigger than each one of us alone.
It is time to gather in support of Northside Christian Academy’s amazing legacy. Now is the time that all of us associated with NCA in some way are reunited by the purpose and conviction of Christian education. In this our 51st year (1961-2012), our rejoicing for the past is coupled with our enthusiasm for the present and future.
It is clear that God is at work at NCA. Since the first day of this school year, Northside has delivered an exceptional educational experience, arts program and competitive athletics, all built on a granite foundation of Christian principles wrapped in a loving community. Our goal is still to fulfill Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go, and even when he is old he will not depart from it.” To say the least, we are very excited about what the Lord is doing here at NCA.
The Annual Alumni Banquet for Northside Christian Academy will be held on Saturday, October 6th at 6:00 PM in the Fine Arts Center. Dinner will be served at no cost. Please RSVP to Pamela.Starkey@northsidecharlotte.com to reserve your spot!
Special speakers and guests will be attending. Join us as we celebrate and reflect on the 50 years of blessings at NCA!
- Alumnus of the Year 2012 – Mark Hudson – Class of 1977
- Alumna of the Year 2012 – Lori Jenrette – Class of 1981
- Commitment To Excellence Award – Brenda Allen – NCA Teacher
Let us remember that going home is not about a place. It is about people. We are and will always be Northside Christian Academy. Our alumni, family and friends will always be welcomed home with open arms to a place that loves them unconditionally. What unites the Northside community is much less about a physical place than about an emotional place, a conceptual place.
As you join us for this fantastic time of celebration, I hope you will find that Northside is still your community, a place and a people where you belong whether you are still here in North Carolina with your own children attending Northside or whether you have followed the Lord’s leading out into a global community. You know, you can always come home again, and your family here at NCA hope you do.
Welcome home!
Sincerely,
Tony Fajardo, M.S.
