We are very excited to let you know that the Matsiko World Orphan Choir will be at NCA to perform for our students on Tuesday, March 12th at 1:30. Parents are invited too!  The Matsiko choir is in need of host homes for March 11th and March 12th.  Please review the following information and if you are interested, please email phylia.smith@northsidecharlotte.com.  This is a wonderful way to provide for and be a blessing to these sweet children as they travel around the world.  Here is a link to a flyer with some additional information to share with others.  Phylia will provide you with more information once you have reached out to me with interest in hosting.

A note from Matsiko Organizers:

We would greatly appreciate any help you can provide with housing.  We have 23 kids and 8 adults traveling with the choir.  We usually split up into groups of 3 or 4 children/chaperones, so we need about 9 host families.  Host families DO NOT need to have a bed for each person they house…the children will gladly share beds with each other, or sleep on air mattresses, couches, or even with a few blankets on the floor.  We are looking for housing for 2 nights – March 11^th& 12^th.  We would have a host family orientation on Monday, March 11^tharound 5 pm…we can set a time that works for at least one adult from each family to meet.  They will take the choir members/chaperones home with them for the evening, and then drop them off at school the next morning when they drop off their kids.  The choir will spend their day together doing school, practicing and performing, and then host families can pick up either after school or later in the afternoon (you let me know what time works best).  On Wednesday, March 13^th, host families would drop off the kids and all their belongings at the school when they drop their own kids off.  If there are any families that are interested in housing but unable to provide transportation, we can help with transportation.  There is an online application form that each host family must fill out.  Here is the link:https://goo.gl/forms/farNYbcNDIlahTGi2.
