International Program Success

We are pleased to report that currently, 29 international students (mostly high schoolers) call NCA home. Our international  students represent 6 countries, ranging from Liberia to South Korea. With special thanks to our program director, Mrs. Pamela Starkey, as well as our existing students, the transition for our international students has continued to be very smooth. While our international students receive wonderful instruction (many are quickly grasping the English language due to our English Fundamentals Program), a large emphasis of our program is to create powerful and lifelong relationships with them. We fully understand that we will learn as much from our international students as they will learn from us. We strive to understand each international student individually, meeting them where they are in order to meet their needs on the road to academic success. It can be difficult to remember that the students who have left their native countries to learn here are indeed courageous in many aspects.  These wonderful students have blessed our lives with their unconditional love – and we hope that in return, we have impacted them positively for eternity. In the long run, future world leaders may have walked through our halls, and this is something that we as educators take very seriously.
