Knights’ Baseball NCISAA Class 2A State Champions!
We have even more incredible athletics news for you this afternoon! Yesterday, your NCA Knights Baseball team faced the Westchester Country Day Wildcats for the NCISAA Class 2A State Championships! The day was long and difficult as the championship consisted of a triple header. Without much rest and lots of sun on their backs, your Knights battled to take the trophy home. What an unbelievable accomplishment today by the baseball team at Northside Christian Academy. We played for the state title versus the #1 seed Westchester Country Day at their field. Best 2 out of 3. We lost the first game 7-1, then came back to win the second game 3-2 and the third game 7-6 to become the class 2A State Champions. All 3 games played in the same day. These kids kept grinding and grinding and I am so proud of them. They just would not give in! They wanted it and they did it!
