NCA’s Annual Toy Drive!

Every December, NCA students begin the process of getting into the Christmas Spirit – but not necessarily in the traditional way. The students start shifting focus from themselves and their Christmas wish lists to serving others during this time of year. One way in which they accomplish this is by participating in our annual Toy Drive! The details of the Toy Drive are as follows:

Students and staff are encouraged to participate by donating new and unwrapped toys for local children. Each classroom will serve as a respective “collection point” for donations, and each class  is encouraged to provide their own decorative boxes and/or storage bins. Also, they are encouraged to “creatively” display the donations in the room (under a tree, etc). A small number of boxes or bins may be available upon request as well.

Class Officers and Student Government members in Grades 7-12 assist with collection and storage of the toys at the conclusion of the Toy Drive. This is where our students show amazing servant-leadership and coordination of something so incredibly positive and important!

The culmination of the Drive allows the students to continue in the Christmas spirit with an amazing opportunity to partner with our parent ministry, Northside Baptist Church, who is coordinating an event to share the gospel and distribute the toys to local children just prior to Christmas!

We couldn’t be more excited about this year’s Toy Drive – and we can’t wait to see how many people the Lord allows us to bless and be a part of making Christmas wonderful for families and children in need this year!
