There is no question that Northside Christian Academy is a very special place. You only have to observe the strong partnerships between students, parents and teachers, and how our shared commitment to the school’s core values, educational excellence and rich traditions is emulated throughout our close and inclusive community. It is here that students of all ages develop exemplary character, a passion for life-long learning, and go on to college and the greater world prepared to lead with Wisdom, Honor and Truth.

Now, as we look toward the continued growth and development of our school, academic, arts and athletic programs, we can truly appreciate the work and people who have gone before us, bringing us to where we are today.

I am exited to reach out to you this summer and let you know of a few of the upcoming changes to our great school.

Security – we are currently working on the upgrade of our security cameras and recording devices throughout our Pre-school and Academy. We have also added a new Parent Alert/Communication system for better communication through the use of text, phone message, and email.
Pre-school/Academy for Early Learning (AEL) – has gone through a transformation for both beauty and security this summer. The project will soon be completed!
Technology Upgrades/Project 1-2-1 – Our school is in the process of finishing our technology upgrades for the 2012-2013 school year. We have implemented the new wireless system in our C-wing building, distributed the new MacBook Air’s and iPad’s to our teachers, started the teacher development with Apple, updated our firewall/management system, and are in the process of finalizing our iPad and PC labs. We are also in the final stages of ordering our brand new ibooks and curriculum for our 9^th grade students.
Still in development – possible new Art Gallery, New Media commons area, and much more.

This is just the start of all the great things that are happening at Northside this summer. We look forward to having you back in our halls very soon!
