Mila Antonyuk Added To NCA Arts Department
The Fine Arts department of NCA is happy to announce the addition of art instructor, Mila Antonyuk to our faculty. Mrs. Antonyuk has taught art at the college and K-12 levels for over 25 years. She holds a Masters in Art Education. With strengths in the areas of drawing, pottery, and art history, Mrs. Antonyuk brings a depth to this position that will benefit NCA students through all levels. Mrs. Antonyuk was born and raised in Ukraine and is fluent in 4 languages, one of those being English as she has taught art in the US since 1999. Mrs. Antonyuk is an active member of Carolina Clay Matters Pottery Guild and an instructor at Mint Hill Arts Center & Gallery. Married with two adult daughters and one grandson, Mrs. Antonyuk and her husband (who is also an artist) live in the Mint Hill area.
Mrs. Renstrom, Director of Fine Arts at NCA, is excited to have our students and their families meet Mrs. Antonyuk:
“We feel that with her education, experience, and even extensive travel background, she brings a new dimension to our art program. I hope our students and families will stop by the art room on the night of orientation to meet Mrs. Antonyuk. As a way of getting to know her, I have asked her to display some of her own work at this time.”
We are excited and grateful to be welcoming the newest addition to our arts department! Please join us in welcoming Mrs. Antonyuk to the NCA Family!
